Corporate Structure

RIARD Systems, LLC is formed as a Limited Liability Company. As an LLC, RIARD Systems exists as a separate legal entity, but carries the benefits of simplicity, flexibility, and tax "flow through" that most corporate structures do not realize.

RIARD Systems, LLC also carries the significant benefits of being a woman-owned business. The company's founder, Ms. Charleen Kalina, is the sole owner of RIARD Systems, LLC.

Management Team

The principal RIARD management team members bring a wealth of expertise and business experience to the company.

Ms. Charleen Kalina's strong entrepreneurial spirit has led her to own multiple successful business enterprises since 1975, including a clothing boutique, a large residential cleaning service, and a window treatment sales and installation company. In 2000, Ms. Kalina was inspired to file her patent for the Roadway Warning System and form RIARD Systems, LLC where she currently serves as President/CEO.

Messrs. Maynard McAdams and Gary Moberg currently provide consulting services to RIARD Systems on the Roadway Warning System. They will transition and become Executives in RIARD Systems to direct the product development and establishment of manufacturing and distribution partners.

Mr. Maynard McAdams retired from Honeywell International after 43 years of service. His tenure there included 35 years in various management and supervisory positions. Mr. McAdams has a great deal of experience in product and program development.

Mr. Gary Moberg also retired from Honeywell brings over 26 years of experience managing business enterprises for Honeywell Aerospace. He held numerous management roles in distribution, material and business management. Currently, Mr. Moberg provides financial and business consulting services in sales and marketing, contract negotiations, financial analysis, proposal preparation, and related areas.

RIARD Systems, LLC is based in Chandler, Arizona. As a part of the Phoenix metropolitan area, the Chandler location enjoys close proximity to many hi-tech firms.
RIARD believes that its Roadway Warning System can reduce intersection-related crashes by 74%.
In 2000, it could have prevented 740,000 injuries, 6,290 fatalities,
and $29.6 billion in economic losses.
